RETTmobil 2025 - Experience innovations
When the RETTmobil International trade fair opens its doors on 14 May 2025, the annual top event for the rescue industry will kick off. More than 480 exhibitors from 26 nations will present innovations, pioneering technologies and the latest developments in the rescue sector. In addition, an extensive specialist programme with interactive workshops, exciting presentations and practical training courses awaits the trade visitors.
Specialist programme: diverse, intensive, trend-setting
The specialist programme impresses with its thematic diversity and practical relevance. The medical and emergency services training courses are divided into seven main blocks and cover the topics of resuscitation, major events, special hazards and neonatal care - with interactive exercises using models. Also on the agenda: evaluation in basic and advanced training, the challenge of road accidents and interdisciplinary cooperation with other specialised services.

Also on the agenda are evaluation in basic and advanced training, the challenge of road accidents and interdisciplinary cooperation with other specialised services.
The ‘Meet the Experts’ event format will focus on two hot topics: ‘Reform of the rescue service’ and ‘New challenges, new answers - acute medicine in the rescue service’. Experts from administration, clinics and practice shed light on the topics from different perspectives and discuss them with the specialist audience.
Hands-on: workshops for real professionals
One of the main focuses of RETTmobil is the practical workshops, in which participants work hands-on in small groups under the guidance of selected experts. This year's programme includes emergency sonography, CPR feedback, advanced airway management, bleeding control and neonatal care - with interactive exercises using models.
Focus practical exercise: Rescue after a serious accident
Another highlight is the practical exercise on medical-technical rescue following a road accident involving a car and an agricultural vehicle with several trapped casualties. Following the great success of last year's exercise with the Johanniter air rescue service, this time the Malteser from Hesse and the Fulda fire brigade will be carrying out a highly realistic simulation.
Pure action: experience the off-road course up close
A crowd-puller for many years: the off-road course, where visitors can take a ride in off-road rescue vehicles. Daimler Truck AG will be represented with a Unimog U5023, the DRK General Secretariat with a Unimog ambulance and a Scania 6x6 truck, EDAG Engineering GmbH with its Ford Defender, THT Polička, which will be sending a Tatra TLF onto the course, and QUAD am Ring, which will be tackling the course with a Ranger XP 1000.
Meeting place for the rescue industry
Both the trade fair and the specialist programme at RETTmobil reflect the diversity of the rescue sector in a unique way. Experts, users and procurers from aid organisations, fire brigades, private emergency services, the medical service of the German Armed Forces as well as authorities, administrations and clinics meet here. The majority of the audience is involved on a full-time or voluntary basis not only in emergency rescue or patient transport, but also in air, mountain, water and high-altitude rescue, fire brigades, rescue dog services or psychosocial emergency care.
‘Professionals and managers from the rescue sector love coming to RETTmobil International. The leading trade fair is a meeting point for the large blue light family, a platform for the exchange of knowledge and technology - and this time also a forum for discussing the effects of the turnaround on the rescue industry and civil protection,’ says Georg Khevenhüller, President of Malteser Hilfsdienst e. V. and patron of RETTmobil International 2025.
RETTmobil will take place from 14 - 16 May 2025 daily between 9 am and 5 pm at the Messe Galerie in Fulda.
Of course, we will also be there as an exhibitor again: You will find us in Hall F Stand 1216 and on the open-air site at Stand F22.
